The Relative Goniometer is a inexpensive alternative to the Goniometer II. With this goniometer the prism angle of the prism under test is compared to a master prism. The achieved accuracy of 2 arcsec with visual autocollimators is sufficient for the most part of the applications. If larger accuracy is required, electronic autocollimators can be used instead of visual ones.

The Relative Goniometer consists of following components:

• prism measuring stand
• TV-set (2x)
• Autocollimator (for example AKR 300/40/14.7)
• Autocollimator with programmable digital double micrometer
  (for example AKG 300/40/14.7 MD-digital)
• Cold light source
