The Goniometer II is the ideal workshop instrument when measuring prism angles in reflection and transmission. Whereas the alignment of the autocollimator to the prism surfaces is done visually, the reading of the integrated incremental circle of highest precision and evaluation of measurement is done automatically via PC and special counter board using the software GONIOWIN. The Goniometer II can be simple upgraded to a Goniometer-Spectrometer II VIS by adapting a spectral illumination.
